Renault: Twizy test in preview, two places 100% electrical worker

ROME - little less than 10 months from the start of the commercialization in Italy, Renault has put on hand some prototypes of the Twizy 100% electrical worker for before taken of contact on the tracks of the Center Tests Ceram di Mortefontaine, to the doors of Paris. When 6,990 euros (excluded the eventual incentives will arrive in the Concessionaires Renault Twizy will cost in the version base) to which it will go added a contract of chartering of a battery the cost of 45 euros to the month, for forfait annual of a 7.500 km. kilometric cost of Twizy will be therefore of 0,075 euros for a battery which adding to the expense for the electric power, decidedly contained since the abilities to the reservoir of energy to the Ionian ones of lithium - reloadable in 3,5 hours - are of 7 kWh.

New solution of city mobility, Twizy is characterized from an innovative architecture with two places online. Movements in city and maneuvers are facilitated thanks to block reduced, while the weight contained in single 350 kg (excluded batteries) guarantee optimal performances and interesting autonomy values. For Twizy Renault it has chosen the formula of the quadricycle that in Italy does not allow circular in freeway but it exempts from the possession of the patent of category B.

The two previewed versions: the Twizy with motor from 15 classified Kw as heavy quadricycle (and can therefore cover the fast sliding roads) and Twizy 45 that instead are accredited like light quadricycle (the maximum speed 45 km/h) assimilable in all and for all to a ciclomotore with the practical advantages us that they achieve some, comprised the parking freedom. More agile than an car, the small electrical worker of Renault boasts ability to acceleration in the traffic comparable to those of a scooter of elevated rolled and an elevated ease of handling that the drift from the ultra-compact dimensions (length 2,32 m, width 1,19 m, height 1,46 m) and from the contained weight for version 45 in single 350 kg excluded battery.

This last element - that it is lodged in a kind of scato it protecting and is posizionato to the center of the car, practically under to the two seats - hung approximately 100 kg and moves, with its mass, the barycentre of Twizy towards the low, with enormous advantages from the point of view of the stability and the dynamic emergency of the vehicle. The impression that is guiding Renault Twizy on rich extracity distances of curves is that not features only of a born vehicle for the city and the movements to lowland speed, but that the formula of the equilibrium between power (max 15 kW) and weight (decidedly contained for a four wheels) joined to the taken care of planning of the chassis and the suspensions can guarantee that pleasantness, that tranquillity and those dynamic characteristics that lack to the scooter (comprised the three wheels) and to miniums-car that re-enter, like Twizy, in the within of the quadricycles. Seated to flying of the version open, oltretutto in still prototipale phase, it has been bundled up from the air nearly like in a careened motion, but the corrected position of flying and the commandos, the semplicit of drive of the selector of march - ahead, crowds, behind - and confort of the seat belt with the double riser (4 points of implantation) that it serves to withhold the guide offer an absolute feeling relax, with the only worry to set in action accelerator and brakes controlling through the wide windshield the road and the traffic. The maximum speed is of 80 km/h, perfect therefore in order to move on the fast city connections. And the autonomy - that it can catch up the 115 km - does not succeed to create anxiety in who guide the Twizy: we are very beyond the average of the distances in city within and the taken one recharges for it is of domestic, collegabile type to any taken in the garages, the courtyards and the parkings (as an example those of the supermarkets) that soon they will be equipped some.
