Pollution: Facebook still in the eye of the cyclone

The controversies are not arrested on the pollution generated from the serveur and the datacentre used from the Facebook, most famous social network of the world. Greenpeace, the association enviromentalist who has launch the initiative Facebook Unfriend Coal own to the aim to stimulate the social network to migrare towards mainly ecosostenibili behaviors, in fact has become protagonist of a new activity of protest happened inside of our borders.

Greenpeace has hung a banner in the Public square Dome of Milan, having invited Facebook to use exclusively the rinnovabile energy for feeding the processes of the social network.
To the base of the protests of Greenpeace there would be the data already exposed in report the Facebook Unfriend Coal, second which 55% of the energy used from Facebook for feeding serveur and datacentre it would come from the coal, against an equal percentage to 12.7% regarding the structures of Yahoo!, and 34% for that concern Google.
Own on the considerations of which over, Greenpeace has intention launch a new initiative that could concur with the association to enter in the Guinness of the Supremacies: to publish a post on own page of facebook, asking then the customers to comment the initiative through a invitation and an encouragement to the company towards the passage to the echo-energies, in the hope that can become the post with the greater number of comments found in the first 24 hours.
